Obviously heβs completely right, but boy will he be surprised when Stamford Bridge is empty.

More queries sent out tonight. If anyone is interested in The Triton Run let me know. I have the rights for it and the sequel and the reviews / sales were good.
Think the North American market could be good for us.
Meanwhile progress on my other projects continues
A really funny blog this from Nick Garnett. Well worth subscribing garnett.substack.com/p/dream-jobs...
Some ramblings on where I ended 2025 in publishing terms. Itβs been a rollercoaster for sure but 2026 will be another step forward.

Despite the shock of the recent news itβs still amazing when you discover people have picked copies of the Triton Run up off the shelves. Sales at Blackwells and Chesterβs Waterstones.
There will be someone out there whoβll be interested in the rights!
Amazing
Nudge nudge wink wink- Iβd be very appreciative of anyone who would nominate the Triton Run for this. Every bit of profile raising will help me get that next deal! Deadline is in 4 days. Thanks!

So, there is still time to nominate The Triton Run in this yearβs BSFA awards.
Itβs had a great reception though obviously there is now a hiccup! Even being long listed would assist in the next stage of my career.
Any BSFA member can vote!
My first Waterstones review !
3 separate messages today from readers gutted that Jovian Sunset wonβt be out in March as planned! It was ready to go as well. But itβll get out there, Iβm so proud of it and the twist is fab at the end.
Best of wishes for both James in new ventures and Amy and Ted in taking the Northerner's historical fiction to new heights!
Small publishing is so often a passion project (makes no money and takes a lot of effort) so kudos for the 5 years and the MANY, MANY books published!

While I'm sad that this means Northodox won't be publishing my fantasy novels anymore, I'm really pleased that they've found a way forward & excited for the books they'll put out over the years to come. Historical fiction & nothern publishing are both richer for their contribution.
Ooh thatβs not good!
Appears there for me on the kindle app on my phone
Revisiting a project I submitted to the writing group I was in a few years back. Still pleased with it but feel Iβm a far better writer now. The concept is solid and I got some good feedback I can use to improve it.
I had the privilege to read some of this- itβs good!
Iβve supported it- why donβt you?
Aside from being scruffy northerners, we've built our reputation on the strength of our historical fiction the last couple of years.
Well, we also love the weird and wonderful as well! Have you had a look at any of these 2025 releases yet?
I bet you are fun at Halloween parties

TEASE!!!
Exciting news today as I got to see what will probably be the cover art for Jovian Sunset, out in March. Iβm sure weβll do a cover reveal soon but it is absolutely fab. Will be as stunning as the cover for The Triton Run.
Great review, really pleased
