I suppose arranging research by Chinese author would be a bit of a challenge; even the modern authors are unmanageable.

While I’ve got you, for decades modern Chinese lit scholars have been spoiled by the existence of the MCLC resource center, a comprehensive online English bibliography of modern Chinese culture. Sometimes when I want to do research relating to premodern, I wonder if there is a similar resource?
Thanks! I didn’t mean I hadn’t heard of it; I’m sure I’ve read several articles published there, only that I came to the realization that I haven’t been seeing publications in it on the CVs of people working on modern literature.

My YouTube Recap said my most-watched channel (based on how many of their videos I watched) was a channel I never heard of and whose content I’m not interested in at all. Must have been channel surfing and fell asleep while it ran through all the videos! My type ended up being the Wonder Seeker.
My parents were nuts about this too! I was so young when I saw it I don’t even remember it anymore.
