Yes please!
Ditto but instead of posting something funny I just ate a big bag of bacon rasher crisps.

worth remembering, David Lynch directed “fix your hearts or die” specifically at transphobes. it wasn’t a generic “no mean people allowed” statement, it was said by his Twin Peaks character in defense of a trans woman he cared for and deeply respected.
I'd play that game, though
TEXAS IS THE REASON in London on May 30th? In THIS economy?!?

It's a remake of the 1927 original, which starred Jolson in a thinly-veiled biography of his life to that point
I doubt The Jazz Singer increased awareness of Al Jolson among teenagers in 1980 (although 8yr old me thought "Love on the Rocks" and "America" were bangers)
The new @radiotimes.bsky.social has a lovely feature on our latest @mulgraveaudio.bsky.social audio play 'Patchwuff' - narrated by Valerie Singleton, with music by Sandra Kerr. Extended version on the RT website, too... here! Huge thanks to @braxtm.bsky.social

I'm not one to regularly share GFM things, but my pal Holly, one of my compadres from the counselling training, lost her business yesterday in the Union St fire - she'd only just moved into the building a couple of months ago.

To those who are struggling.
It isn’t a fucking crime.
Be kind to yourselves.
What’s to say about HEAVENLY? An incredible band, whether playing songs they wrote as twentysomethings or - ahem - *older* people, creating the warmest atmosphere as they do it. I fell in love last night. Again.
