The translation of one segment of the column: such as El Salvador, or even to war zones (South Sudan), is increasing. Even legal immigrants, now US citizens but considered inconvenient, are beginning to be deported, using the "denaturalization" process, previously used only for terrorists. The increasingly blurred line between immigrants and citizens is alarming, especially since Trump's budget bill has allocated $140 billion to immigration ($45 billion for borders, $45 billion for detention centers, and $30 billion for personnel). ICE is becoming the richest police force, large and well-armed. There are fears that a White House (and Stephen Miller) army, untethered from the Pentagon, is being formed.
