Burnout is clinically understood as a combo of 6 factors—work overload, lack of control, insufficient rewards, breakdown in community, absence of fairness, & value conflicts—and only a fraction of it is under your control. Burnout is a systemic problem, so be kind to yourself and hard on the system.

MIndset shift I'm mulling over when making art. Rather than saying "I'm bad at x" I'm going to try and shift how I communicate that to myself and others as "I'm unpracticed at x" because the latter contains in part the solution and it helps me feel less stuck.

So... I'm gonna be a bit more blunt today in regards to AI usage in the TTRPG space.

The harder it is made for folks using AI to find acceptance and gain traction, the less of it we will see.

This means blocking them on Social Media, and reporting them on sites where they sell their trash.

I don't think I can give anymore leeway to the crowd who pleas you to look past the predatory practices because their gacha of choice makes them personally happy

Did Sephiroth do this? It's a shopping cart On top of a fence post I used to work retail, I would likely leave this forever. Not because I think it's super cool, but because I wasn't paid enough to correct something like this

Just a reminder: having a functional moral compass right now is going to make you feel bad all the time; don’t mistakenly hate yourself for that.
