Archaeologists don't study dinosaurs but that doesn't mean we can't be excited when they're coming to the museum!

Reminder! The #Museum is temporarily closed January 12th-25th.

Why? We're replacing the flooring in our temporary exhibit space.

Why? Because our building is over fifty years old and sometimes, it needs extra love.

See you on January 26th! #Halifax #NovaScotia

The Hydrostone, a close-up image of a circular stone marker embedded in the pavement at the center of an intersection, commemorating the Halifax Explosion. The central circle is inscribed with "DECEMBER 6, 1917" and "THE END HC" (referring to The End of the Hydrostone Commission). Radial stone lines leading away from the center are engraved with the names of streets that meet there: "YOUNG ST." is visible to the upper left, and "HALIFAX EXP" (part of Halifax Explosion) is visible to the right.
