It’s amazing what you notice if you simply look down. We are so used to walking with you heads up, that sometimes all it takes is a shift in perspective to notice something wonderful. Maybe that could also be used as a life lesson?

I sometimes wonder how many tourist photos I must have ruined over the years by accidentally getting in the background. Must be at least 100 million I reckon.
Not at all…I travel back to Scotland to see my family and friends just before Hogmanay…it’s like I have never been away. We go to Edinburgh for the largest outdoor party in the world. Live bands, fireworks, most pubs and restaurants open until New Year’s Day morning. Love it!

I hear you, Lisa. My family lives in Adelaide and I visit them and also get around other cities. I love your weather, beaches and relaxed lifestyle. Plus Australians are the most laid back and friendliest people you could ever hope to meet. I am in Canada…another pretty sane place 😀
Oh Canada is such a beautiful place! We seriously considered relocating there instead of Brisbane, but I would have had to do extra study and accreditation to be able to work there.

The SS Meheno, K'Gari (Fraser Island). The SS Meheno was an ocean liner owned by the Union Co.pany of NZ, that operated crossing between Australia and New Zealand from 1905-1935. Also used by the NZ Navy. The ship washed ashore during a cyclone in 1935 and has been there ever since. I took this in 2022
