Thereβs something special about that warm hollowbody tone. Itβs missing a little bit of sustain you can get out of a LP, but itβs otherwise much more flexible.
ES-135? I have a 335 and absolutely adore it.
βTheyβre ubiquitous, cheap, and fun.β
Cheap? This reporter clearly didnβt do much research. π
Would @bsky.app be willing to make a TikTok clone? Asking for a friend.
How do you like your Clean so far?
Iβm in process of building my first bass after building and repairing multiple guitars. Any suggestions?
Thereβs something amazing about wiring up a guitar and plugging it in after doing work on it. I love it.
Apparently they find them in Grand Central.
If youβve been to Grand Central, this completely tracks.
I love that feeling of quiet as the snow pads all the acoustic surfaces and changes how sound travels through the air. The soft cone of flakes catching the light of the street lamp as they fall.
So, first and foremost, thereβs no such thing as ethical consumption under our current form of Capitalism as championed by Milton Friedman.
Second, decreased support is still sending a message, even if someone is not yet perfectly compliant.
Take a look at Nathan Tardiff from Noodlerβs or the Goulets from Goulet Pen Company.
There are shitty people everywhere, which is why itβs so important to be the good you want to see in the world (or your hobby).
This is my primary pedal for dry tone. I have a CBA Clean stacked after it and my needs are completely met.
Thereβs a way around this in the settings I believe, but Iβm still testing. Are you limiting the mix on each output to just certain outputs from the DAW or input monitoring?
Itβs not bus powered, but the USB cable *does* carry a ground. Power is via adapter.
I replaced a couple of cables and re-ordered the signal chain which did the trick once the interface was grounded to the laptop. It may also be the TRS to dual TS adapter Iβm using from the Clean β after putting it farther back it it helped.
Already figured it out. It was an issue with my CBA Clean and one of the cables. Grounding the interface to the laptop helped.
DM conversation between me and a sad person reads your a fag right (Actually it's you're) You guys on the left are to easy to trigger and fun to bully Did I invade your save space (Actually it's safe space)
Can't believe I was thinking about turning off DMs today.
Here for all the guitar stuff.
I get ground loops when I try to run stereo out of my Clean into my 18i8. Itβs infuriating.
Keep em on a shelf if you want very specific tones, but my default is my Strymon stuff. They take some learning, but itβs rare you canβt get exactly what you want from them.
Spendy, but well worth the coin.
A pedalboard in a carrying case. A total of 7 pedals are shown: - A moog expression pedal - Ernie Ball volume jr - Chase Bliss Audio Automatone Preamp MK II - Boss FZ-3 Fuzz - Boss TU- 3 tuner - Chase Bliss Audio Clean - Strymon Timeline - Strymon BigSky
A flowchart showing signal chain of the pedals
Itβs starting to come togetherβ¦
β¦and I was able to chase down the pesky ground loop that was killing my sound.
I have one each β Timeline and a BigSky. Depends on how much room you have on your board and how much you want to dance on it during a set.
For me, I prefer to dial my tone in and let midi do the dancing.
Weβre lucky if our house is below 50% humidity on a given day.

My Timeline and BigSky handle all this well together.
That said, youβre not gonna get anywhere close to a true Trem unless you score a Leslie.
You forgot Team MultiFX and Team Digital.
I think I fall in between β a digital pedal of each class.
Do you have a flavor of delay you prefer? I personally adore my Strymon Timeline. Expensive, but very flexible.
Then again, my board is only 5 pedals, including my tuner. Reverb, Delay, Preamp/Dirt, Compression.
First rule of a knife fight is to plan on getting cut regardless of who has the knife first.
Brass knuckles? No one is gonna rip them from my fingers and hit me with them, not without breaking every one of their fingers because theyβre too stupid to understand their proper use.
I definitely worked with some customers who deserved this.
Nothing wrong with a simple pedalboard. If you know the tone you want, enjoy it.
