It wasn’t a big headliner, but the #BlueJays’ acquisition of Brandon Valenzuela from the Padres in 2025 was one of the sharpest moves this front office has made in a while.
He’s a big-leaguer at a position starved for big-leaguers. He’s helped himself a lot this spring.
Trey Yesavage will pitch in a Minor League game tomorrow at the #BlueJays’ complex, John Schneider says.
Plan is for two innings, which could leave time for two more “starts” in camp. Whether those happen in Minor League games or the “real” ones, TBD.
#BlueJays No. 5 prospect Ricky Tiedemann (elbow soreness) will start throwing again today and ramp back up.
They’ll be cautious with it and this could potentially delay the start to his season, but he’s back on track now.
#BlueJays announce some more internal roster moves:
RHP Jake Bloss and LHP Ricky Tiedemann have been optioned to Triple-A Buffalo
RHP Tanner Andrews, RHP Nate Garkow, and RHP Chay Yeager have been reassigned to Minor League camp.
