I stepped away from the news for a few days not expecting to return to stories of Elon and Don fighting.

What a delightful turn of events.

I use Photoshop and Lightroom frequently. Edited this photo I took of my son and made it cartoonish. I think it’s cool. He didn’t like it. He was brave to be honest to his mother. I wanted him to be. I was proud of how well he told me he didn’t like it.

I want factual information concerning how much of the total tax cuts will end up helping employees at the bottom of the employment ladder or households with low incomes. Are the tax cuts going to bring up salaries to a living wage. Everyone needs to earn a living wage.

In today’s HUD news watch, nothing happened, we have no idea if we will receive 2025 CDBG and HOME funds. We are pretty sure we are f’d for ESG and CoC funds. In other words, many households with low incomes may be shoved onto the streets. Middle finger to the man.

In Oct 2023, I took the plunge into scuba diving for the first time on stunning Kwajalein Island in the heart of Kwajalein Atoll. I had the chance to dive with my son, who calls Kwajalein home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to dive into underwater exploration.

I can’t do politics right now. But I can still talk about cats.
