The mistake being made about Meta is to say they're just doing this to make conservatives happy. They've been doing that a decade+. Removing fact checkers and bringing back political content means there will be more stuff that gets more people mad which creates more engagement. Growth at all costs.
there's a bit of incoherence in a political and cultural establishment decrying violence, in the same country where you can *3-D print a handgun*.
F minor ... though I like to add a 7th or 9th when I'm feeling cheeky
It's the two year anniversary of the launch of ChatGPT and still nobody can actually say what it is or why it's the future
Just got my ticket. Looking forward to the media's wall-to-wall coverage on Slowdive's eras tour
The cybertruck is to our era what Medusa was to ancient Greeks, all who look upon it are stricken mute as stone with the horror of what their eyes just witnessed.Should have named it Gorgon
An Indian initiative to preserve vanishing groundwater by delaying the annual sowing of rice has led to a dramatic worsening of air pollution in New Delhi and the surrounding region.

There's something I need people to understand.
The studio that made this released some numbers. They had to produce 85 minutes of footage to find 15 usable seconds for this ad.
The machine that creates moving images out of nothing has a failure rate of 340:1 and the best 15 seconds... is this.
Canβt stop thinking about how many Americans voted for Trump because of inflation, and how how US oil companies illegally colluded to fix prices β which sent inflationary shock waves through the economy β and how Trump is expected to end the investigation on their actions.

A chart showing greenhouse gas emissions since 1990. Canada is the only country shown whose emissions are higher. Other countries including the USA, Japan, and European Union members have all made notable progress.
The rest of our peers are making progress to cut emissions while Canada is uniquely behind. We need to dispense with this idea emissions reductions are too difficult to do fast & the idea international climate diplomacy is pointless. It's working elsewhere.

Fascinated to see if the gentle ambience here can survive a Premier League weekend.

The thing that radicalized people in the last 4 years more than anything else was the disruption of their consumer habits by the pandemic and what Trumpβs cabinet appointments really call to mind for me is how many people are going to be sent over the edge by no longer having access to their treats
