In Britain the days may be shortening and frequently grey, but when the sun comes out it is so good to pause and hail the fleeting moment when the trees talk in tongues of gold, copper and flame
Believe it or not, but there are a couple of migrating birds in this picture, taken (safely) in an urban wetland just 20 minutes from downtown
