Forgot to mention. I reviewed the upcoming Skull Island graphic novel coming out through Titan.

If you’ve never seen the Netflix show it’s based on I recommend it. Especially if you ever wanted to introduce Monsterverse Kong to kids and teens.

The standalone GN works as a sequel to the show.

They’re tired of being sold as a product for subscriptions. They’re tired of having AI scrape everything from their words to their identity. Most importantly… we wanna own shit. Not rent it from a corporation who just wants us to subscribe then hike the price once we’re addicted. Make art. Make exp.

Honestly, I think that’s why my weird comic book pop up is doing well and is the only thing keeping me afloat. There is a huge demand for physical and I feel like journalists are yet again doing a dogshit job reporting on it bc they don’t see what I do on the ground.

Ppl are tired of consumerism.

Because the truth is unless you invested in a gaming pc already… building one is not the quick solution to everything as it was just years ago. The prices are ridiculous. And tbh AI is making most Ram or graphic dependent tech (aka all of it) outrageously expensive

With the chip shortage that will likely never fix itself due to the demands of AI data centers. I’m genuinely unsure what the next generation of gaming will be if there even is one. This is a very short focused move pivoting strategy at a time resources are starting to be scarce.
