But also what’s hard about this is that it’s hard to evaluate at the application stage. Sure you can TRY to schedule talks with PIs but everyone’s busy. You’re busy, they’re busy, everyone has something more pressing to do and that’s ok. It feels like a Hail Mary at this point but we remain hopeful

Really focusing on finding a solid environment to do my PhD in. Yeah it’s a daunting task but it’s as essential as identifying what I want to study in the first place but I don’t think I can’t do 5-7 years in an environment that doesn’t care about me more than my data. Or maybe it’s worth it idk.

Grad apps update

I’m pretty sure I left my travel coffee mug unwashed and shut tight at lab last Wednesday. Goodbye parasitology and hello mycology‼️

A little more than two weeks until grad apps are due and I’m just like
