Last batch of British Infantry for now. Bit of a mish mash of Sten guns and engineers

Three assorted figures for my British in Italy. Having painted a Warlord Resin figure (on the left) and two metal figures, the resin figure took the paint a lot better.

Challenging week work wise but a delivery day on Friday more that makes up for it!

Picked up these three army boxes in the @mightylancergames.bsky.social sale for the Mithradatic Wars. Well packed and great service, survived Royal Mail leaving it out in the rain!

Finished a universal carrier for my British. Lovely little vehicle. I added some infantry packs to the side to make it feel a bit more ‘lived in’

Another Epic Pike and Shotte unit, the Earl of Essex’s Foot. This is foot regiment number 7 of 14 you get in the set now painted. Can’t complain about that value for money…

I wouldn’t worry, seems linked to the asbestos recall from Hobbycraft. From what I read it seemed to be that the Chinese supplier had not declared its presence (something about a >5% presence)

Quite hard to get sand to work out of a spray can!

On a side note has anyone played Zero Hour? The sandbox approach seems to be a good fit for a ruleset

All do the Timber framed ECW buildings done with AK paint pens, around an evening each a building. Happy with the result for the time it took

My third Bolt Action event sold all 18 of its tickets in 24 hours. A good sign for the health of historical gaming in my area at least!

Yes I saw someone on Facebook do it so can’t claim originality but really happy with the result.

Yes, off white colour. Only one coat onto straight MDF (no primer) slight texture was accidental!

Ordered some paint pens and they arrived today (ordered on Sunday, greta service by Great Escape Games!)

Managed to paint a 15mm building in an evening. They work really well for flatter surfaces, I’m impressed.

Also talking about Salute this year. A few months out but a good time to start planning the shopping list and end the no new miniatures ban!

Given the wind and rain here is the opposite of perfect priming weather, this weekend will be most building kits!

A Tiger 1 done this evening. Always hesitated having such a big tank for a platoon sized game, but given there’s a couple of battles in Sicily they could be used for gave me an excuse!

Some support weapons for my British platoon. 6pdr fun and crew by Rubicon, pretty sure the Vickers is an old 8th army model I had lying around from Artizan.

Different sculpting styles so interesting to paint them at the same time!

In the end it’s a public forum so I can’t be mad that people are posting what I don’t want to see! I like to keep the hobby as some escapism/separate from politics as I’m all too well aware of what is happening.

I do enjoy the football and history posts you make!

I wouldn’t go back, but I’ve noticed that in the last few months it’s been a bit quieter here, with more political and general posts.

A Humber armoured car finished up to join my British force. Always love the chunky look of British armoured cars, and the Humber is as ubiquitous as you get!
