The notion of immaterial labor is, at the beginning of the 21st century, a central issue for understanding the transformations of late capitalism. Contrary to those who pointed to the emergence of the immaterial as an intellectual fashion, every day, there is evidence that the critical thinking about capitalism requires new reflexive parameters regarding the categories of value, commodity, and wage labor. This book brings unsettling reflections about the inseparability, in the present historical moment, between the spheres of labor and culture, showing that the production of capitalist wealth has presented new features
