Got it. I'm sorry for your loss. To clarify: You want a eulogy for your father that's ๐๐ป๐ถ๐พ๐๐ฒ, sounds ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐, and captures the ๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ต๐ถ๐บ. I get it. He wasn't just your father โ he was your Dad. Here a few options I came up with:
Man, this brings back memories

My kid sang along to it too, and it was surreal. I feel silly posting about this (especially in the middle of the night) but the movement, attention span and language use was so similar it really struck a chord. Still good work going on at Sesame Workshop.
In the show Elmo sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Julia joined in because she was excited by the song, never making eye contact or directly acknowledging the other puppet. It showed kids how an autistic child can join in if they feel compelled to, but them engaging is kind of fleeting.
I just saw Julia (the autistic muppet) on Sesame Street for the first time today and was shocked by the accuracy. Having an autistic toddler represented so precisely isnโt something I expected, and it kind of hit me in the gut seeing my son behaving the same as a character on screen as he watched.
