Today is #WorldCancerDay
~1 in 5 people will develop #cancer in their lifetime
Each diagnosis affects not just one person, but families, communities, and futures
Grateful today for patients, clinicians, researchers & advocates - and to appreciate that progress depends on acting together

Academic folks, here's proof that Bluesky is a great place to post citations. I am also noticing much better traction in general (I post for an academic group; despite a larger following on X there's much more interaction here).

When 14 journals choose to publish the same article simultaneously, you know the topic is important. This is about predatory journals, which are out to catch the inexperienced authors. If you are thinking of submitting a paper following an invitation, read this first. #publishing
