Then, modelling 3D growth fields given a starting set of cells with defined GRN activation states. Predictions about GRN function on cell fate and tissue shape would then be reconstituted in the lab using in vitro or in vivo approaches.
Our group aims to study how GRNs drive clonal dynamics during facial morphogenesis. We will merge GRN inference (incl. enhancer target predictions) with developmental trajectory modeling, to understanding how GRNs evolve during cell diversification and patterning. 2/n
