Last Night I played Railways of Nippon. I love this game. A map made by Hisashi Hayashi for a game system by Martin Wallace. What a combo! 4 players is pretty brutal (debt is hard to escape). I'd recommend 3 players for this map.

Wednesday Night Board Games Night!!!!

3 years ago today I was playing Rhino Hero with my nephew and nieces. They've grown up a lot but this game still gets us laughing and having fun!
What are some of your favourite games to play with kids?

Yes, please. It is such a great way to start a conversation and build the board game community while finding out more about your thoughts and opinions. I see no downside!

Apparently it is pretty straightforward to play. But will take more than one game to master.

Azul is one of my wife's favourites and I love playing it with her (even though we can be a bit cruel to each other).

Yes, they're so similar that I've mixed them up.

Some friends were playing Vendel to Viking today. They really enjoyed it and it looked good.

Two years ago today I was playing 18Chesapeake. I look back on this so fondly because we used this game to teach 18xx to so many new players and now we have a thriving community of train game players! 🚂

Brass is Concordia on steroids. So much tension at first trying to eke out a profit and eventually thriving with developed industries. I highly recommend it!

I loved playing Shogun with my mates for hours and fell in love with Avalon with friends in Japan.

New dice and my character has new clothes. Yesterday's D&D was basically shopping for 3-4 hours. Does that happen to your games too? Not complaining! Druids need retail therapy too!!
