This is such good advice. It goes along the lines of encouraging people to travel to understand different cultures and global perspectives. And, reading is so much more accessible for everyone than travel… libraries are goldmines!

I started listening to The Obake Code and I love the reader. They TOTALLY get the Hawaiian inflections, slang, tone. I feel transported back to Molokai when I hear the vocabulary. And the Obake mythology wordlessly woven in is terrific. Another WIN, @makana-yama.bsky.social

The choice of music or how it sounds broadcasted? I think the venue feed music quality is terrific! However, the NBC/Peacock w commentators feed is squeally to me

For those of you frustrated by the NBC ads on Peacock during Ice Dancing... watch the VENUE FEED. It doesn't cut out any of the skaters. Breaks only during ice cleaning or warmups. #olympics

In Alaska they are about $14 but i get many meals w the meat and soup from the bones. It’s not a splurge for me, it’s being frugal.

One other strategy that I've been doing is watching the LIVE Venue Feed and then going back and watching the replay with the commentators.

Loving that the Skating Venue Feed has the skater's music front and center and loud enough to really feel the emotion with the performance! NBC's feed is great for commentary, but not for feeling a part of the experience #olympics

Agree. I have both on (two screens). I wish the venue feed stats in the upper left had the type of element (like the NBC feed), not just the base and execution score

I also love feeling the energy of the arena. That doesn't come through in the NBC commentators version. #olympics
