If you have a friend who wants to run or can find a local running club it helps keep it up long term. You could book an event or follow a training app for motivation.
A new Parkrun that was trail and lovely scenery. 1121km for the year, adding a bit more on 31st. Thank you for your online encouragement!
My kids called my stepmum Grandma Linda and my dad Grandad Linda 😀. I was closer to my step grandma than grandma due to living closer but used her first name and she was my last grandparent alive once I was 18 so I really appreciated her!

Do you think lesson observations are common? I have one tomorrow but not come across it at previous 2 schools.
Ran 8km with friends at a relaxed pace then did this Parkrun. Following a Garmin programme to improve my 10k pace is motivating me at the moment! #EduRunners

Being observed tomorrow, this is the first school I have worked in where you have formal observations, is it widespread? Previously just had anyone come in when they want to, which feels like leaders would have a more true view of what is happening.

I did it in September, you do as many 10km loops as you want in 24 hours, I did 5 and had a full 8 hours sleep so not as crazy as it sounds!

8 runs over the 2 week half term covering 60km. Booked a 10k for December, 2 half marathons for next year and a 24 hour endurance event as motivation to keep going over the dark months ahead #EduRunners

If it is a leadership role the poor leader will lead to lower morale among other staff, possibly affecting their work and even retention.
