In the course of two days I have had two young men, one I don’t know at all and one I know well, ask to speak to me after class. Both are struggling with significant mental health crises and had no one else to talk to. We need to do better by this generation of young people. 💔💔💔

I was fortunate to get to spend a few days on Sapelo Island this week for work. The cultural and natural resources there are like nowhere else. I am extremely grateful to do what I do and for the respite of this trip during these days. Here are some pictures of the beach, butterflies and birds.

This happened down the road from my house. Word is they also detained Hyundai executives, South Korean nationals. Georgia has spent years building relationships with Hyundai to build this EV plant (for all of N America) and this one escapade has put everything in jeopardy.

Yesterday I went down a little musical rabbit hole and listened to a bunch of political punk rock music from my youth. The lyrics are even more relevant today. As bad as we thought Reagan and Thatcher were, we need that kind of energy now among young people. Introduce a Gen Z-er to punk rock today!
