I’m not sure I’d trust a son in-law with bringing pies to Thanksgiving. Imagine that being the reason we started a war with Iran.
Trump and Hegseth are classic American tough guys— talking like warriors, while sitting safely 6000 miles away, shooting bombs at a girls elementary school.
Right now, Trump’s only attacks that are having any success are the ones he’s waging on Steve Witcoff and Jared Kushner.
At least those have a clear objective.
For decades, U.S. administrations have resisted the calls to wage war on Iran.
But suddenly, a Fox talking head, a Bronx real estate developer, a racist game show host, and a son in-law know better than all previous American presidents.
MAGA stands for America First
Except when it comes to the lives of its own servicemen and women.
No clear strategy. No endgame in sight.
But hey, it’s only global stability, the world economy, and the lives of millions at stake based on a Trump “feeling.”

Now he’s taking delight in sending American kids to go & die in his war of choice.

Thought I would have gotten used to it by now, but I’m still grappling with the realization of just how stupid the men running this country are.
Cheeto Hitler thinks that all it takes to win is to simply declare victory.

I'm not a Middle East historian. But replacing one hardline Ayatollah with another hardline Ayatollah, then screaming "we won," doesn't mean we won.
