Is BlueSky just a replacement for that other placeπ€’or has it become something else?
I have to admit, I haven't been spending a ton of time on here yet. I'd love to hear how everyone is using/enjoying it or what you're looking for?

I made my way under the stars with the new Sigma BF and couldn't help but take some photos of the camera itself : )

Mars Appears - Last night, the Moon passed completely in front of Mars from about an hour and twenty minutes. We had some passing clouds, but it cleared enough shortly after Mars reappeared.

I was so excited to head out under the stars with this extremely compact camera setup. Not only did I end up taking photos of the stars on both coasts, I was even inspired to bring them along on some...day time outings. I know, that's very unusual for me π but it was a really fun change of pace.

Fairbanks, Alaska - Aurora over a sunflower field. One of my favorite shots from the my short trip, this one was really tough to pull off. I had to use short exposures and keep adjusting my focus to keep the sunflower sharp as it blew in the wind.

Night Hikes in Bryce Canon National Park - In between taking photos of the Milky Way, I turned to the trail leading down the canyon to catch light trails from hiking in the dark.

A colorful sky behind the Barnegat Lighthouse in New Jersey.
These colors are created by a Red SAR Arc with green diffuse aurora below it. Although the sky was exploding and dancing with color, this comparatively simple image was one of my favorites.
