Pokémon look so weird when placed in the world because they aren’t coherent in art style nor do they have a solid sense of art direction.

It’s the saddest thing about modern Pokémon and why I’ve been a little put off in playing them.

I’m glad that the Pokémon themselves are looking good, but I really wish more time was spent in giving the environments an art direction too
