You mean like TVs used to be?

So in Orban's reality Russia is defending itself from Ukranian invasion. I can see where he's going with this.

... and then Iran will stop attacking shipping in the Straits of Hormuz? No. The war stops when Iran stops and Iran has a score to settle. Trump unleashed forces beyond his control. Cuba will be the least of his worries.

It's much easier to smuggle a fiver into the history exam than a statue. If that isn't a reason to keep Churchill on the fiver I don't know what is.

The diplomatic ship has sailed, at least publicly. Best to let diplomats get on quietly with things. As for Witkoff and Kushner, they solely push the Kremlin line. Europe can never accept that for many reasons, existential in Ukraine's case. Such "negotiations" are purely performative

Tbh I'm not sure whether you agree or disagree with keeping Putin at arms length, or if you're implying I think Polanski would fly out to Moscow for a nice chat.
Macron tried and failed with the diplomatic approach, necessary IMO, but I suspect Macron is now the more realistic leader wrt Putin.

I'm wary of Polanski wanting to reach out to Putin, though. I'd want to keep Russia at arms length TBH.

Strongmen wannabe-dictators like to hang out together?

Polanski is Green Party, not Reform. WTAF is wrong with him? Unfortunately Labour is working hard to make itself unpopular and Tories are swivel eyed loons now. Lib-Dems are ignored so Greens and Reform could realistically become Government and Opposition and both are pro-Putin. The UK is stuffed.

The Weatherman is as bloodthirsty as Solovyov. Anyway I'd better stock up the bunker if the weather is perfect for nuclear armageddon this weekend.

Trump wants to be Putin. It follows.

I assume the building in question was the semiconductor fab making integrated circuits. Could be quite the lead time replacing all that.

I trust Ukraine will dig its heels in and refuse to entertain Hungary while it keeps the stolen gold and cash.

Isn't Israel also pro-Russia?

Well, how is Trump supposed to get Putin's orders from Congress?

The markets reacting positively to Trump saying the war will be over soon suggests that traders are not, in fact, particularly bright.

For the US's war, judgement. For relations with the US, luck.

Trump is today telling every member of the US military that it is ok with him if Russia helps Iran kill them--every one.

Once again Americans, Trump looks at US military personnel as suckers and losers that he can sacrifice for his own glory and profit. This is who leads

Dear God. I'm having visions of Farage and Boris Johnson being everyone's ancestor in 300 year's time. Puke....

Time to decapitate the Trump regime

Don't say the Farage bit! If Labour think Reform is sucking up to Trump, they'll copy that policy to win over the Reform vote.

Well, a Jovian day is 9.9 hours so it'll be Wednesday soon. TBH I often wonder what planet I'm on. Not a sane one anyway.

Has he been to Clacton? Or did he just benefit from a bunch of racists and xenophobes who'd vote Reform anyway?

07.03.2026 10:17 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Every thing Labour says nowadays is so heavy with qualification and caveat they couldn't commit to a straight answer when asked what day of the week it is.

Trump is in love with Putin, but it is unrequited love.
