I'm a total beginner. I wound my first ball last night, and tonight I'm learning to cast on (21 stitches for a scarf). The kit's got a pretty good video tutorial. I think I'd like to do a 1x1 rib pattern, so I may pick up some cheap yarn and extra needles to practice knits/purls before continuing.
