Old Volpe Transportation Center Building being demolished during a gloomy winter day.
This building had a lot of stories. Even before the "Houston, we have a problem".
Bye the old Volpe Building.

AI productivity gains reduce the cost of entry for new products. The Cambrian explosion in new products and startup companies that is the result of AI productivity gains, is how the market attacks the product discovery bottleneck. The valuation models for these startups need to be adjusted.

It is hard to ignore software development productivity gains from AI. They are just a step function, but will not result in sustainable improvement in growth rates. Product discovery is not easily automated. Hence, it will remain the bottleneck to establish new leaders.

Good luck!
As one, who joined Kiva when it just was a bit over 100 people, I have to tell you that the culture then was not the culture after the acquisition. Also, dealing with many diverse customers is not dealing with one huge customer.
This reminds me Robert Axelrod's tournaments.
Alas, AI systems did not learn anything his findings...
A lot of scientists miss the point that humans are not perfect.
I've been very wary about humanoid robots.
Social media is one giant time thief. People switched from reading books (long-term knowledge) to social media updates (short-term knowledge that will not even matter within hours).
Add one more bias to your list of known biases - appeal to AI.
This is a good day. I hope better days ahead.
And this difference is a critical one.

The route of JetBlue flight 932 approaching KBOS showing rejected landings and holding patterns.
I really feel bad for the pilots and ATC folks at Boston Logan. Dozens of rejected landings/go-arounds today due to strong winds.
This is not an uncommon situation today.
In addition, the ATC folks do not get paid, while being essential workers.
Very concerned as we may get to the point when execution is also automated.
These incidents undermine trust in automation as a whole.

With a stronger push to AI, we experience a renaissance of reductionism. π€·ββοΈ
This is also a Dunning-Kruger moment for the industry. There are so many bad surprises ahead (and I'm not even talking about the impact of labor).
Well, we lost some messages in Slack...

I've ran into similar challenges last couple of years. This didn't arrive suddenly. I noticed this trend as early as 2014.
Not to defend Tesla. But I think the only explanation of this is their product safety only encompasses the safety of who pays Tesla and doesn't encompass those, who don't. Like VRU in this case.
If it's the case, it is a very perverse interpretation of product safety.
2. If you look at the admission requirements at European universities, you will realize how much the US education is lagging. SAT/ACT requirements aren't even close.

1. The issue about an attack on American universities is not only about deterring getting brightest foreign students. With scientists and researchers starting to leave the US, it makes more sense to start seeking educational opportunities overseas for the American students.
Sometimes the college evaluation process looks like this.
The divide between Europe and the US becomes very striking if one compares college entrance requirements. Most of US students will not qualify in Europe. The US is very behind on education. And we are trying to disband the Department of Education!? π€¦ββοΈ

Worked with Sabrina. I'm confident she will make an impact.
Very important step forward.
