Anyone who has the chance to work with Rain should absolutely do so. One of the most brilliant, creative people I've had the privilege of working with.
Hi Steve! Ong's Hat in the 80s/90s is usually cited as the first ARG. And I've also heard of other ARG/proto-ARG projects in the mid-90s like Publius Enigma and Webrunner The Hidden Agenda (though I can't say much on the last one as it seems to be lost media).
Iβm gonna be at this as a panelist! Thx again to Alex for asking me to participate!
Come hang out and chat abt ARGs!
I am so excited to announce that I will be a panelist at the first official ARGathering!! Thank you to Alex for the wonderful opportunity, I can't wait to share my love for this fascinating art form, long live UNFICTION!!! β€οΈ
Everything I've heard from @alexhera.bsky.social about ARGathering has been genuinely fucking incredible. It's one more reason you should get your ass to @unnamedfootage.bsky.social and enjoy some cutting edge filmmaking.
I can't make it, but give Alex a #nomoredocumentaries2026 for me π
Huge thanks to the @unnamedfootage.bsky.social for letting me put this together. It's gonna be a great time!
And I'll be hosting a panel Q&A in conversation with @dashkdot.bsky.social, creator of hiimmarymary and
@losdesfilms.bsky.social, creator of Anatomy (1963)!
The screening block includes selected videos from Anatomy (1963), Daisy Brown, Donβt Feed the Muse, hiimmarymary, Marble Hornets: Rosswood, Rasterflesh, and redredhat!
I'm excited to announce the ARGathering, an event celebrating alternate reality games, featuring screenings, a panel, and an in-person ARG. Come hang out on March 28!

All art is expressly political. If you are avoiding politics in your art practice right now, you're quietly assisting fascism.
Fascism wishes to reduce art to something tepid, neutered, representative of an apolitical revision of reality/history.
What we make should make their eyes bleed.

One month ago, myself and an incredible team shot Bethel Hill in upstate NY. It was, to put it simply, absolute chaos, and also one of the greatest creative environments I've ever been a part of. In post-production now, and I can't wait to share more.
Feel free to reach out π
We love Slenderman πππ
Really proud of everyone who helped out with this. @alexhera.bsky.social brought together a hell of a set of writers and then did a ton of work to bring this from "web text" to edited, playable, game. Hats off to the illustrators too. God damn its some great art.
Go give her a whirl!
The S4G choose-your-own-adventure, developed by an incredible team during Slender for Gender 2025, is now available for you to play on your own! Good luck getting the good ending!

Hi there, I did end up expanding the history section to include more of the original mythos.
