I am absolutely in love with the show and loved them using a play as a framing device for the episode plot but also showing theatre as catharsis and I just have a lot of emotions!!!!!!!

There was SO much love and care put into this ep - the museum scene alone had me weepy.

Sometimes, star trek very very good.

Also? Love all of the faculty. Cpt Ake? Absolute pansexual disaster. Lt Cmdr Thok? I ADORE HER. Cmdr Reno? Hell yes butches in space

I legit don't think I have a fave of the kids bc they're all really interesting & compliment each other well as characters.

There is something really compelling motivating all of them to be in the Academy & they're all learning to work as part of a greater whole.
