Raghav Arora

Painting made with acrylic and gouache paints, which mimics the poster for the Pixar movie Coco. It features two people standing on a bridge made of yellow-orange petals holding guitars. One is a young kid wearing a red hoodie and blue pants with a brown guitar. The second person is a skeleton wearing red shirt, brown pants, and light brown hat. He is also holding a brown guitar. Both the skeleton and the boy do now have fingers because the author (and painter) of this does not know how to draw and paint fingers properly. In the background, fireworks are going off to celebrate the Day of the dead (Día de (los) Muertos), and on top is written COCO TAMP. COCO TAMP stands for Commonsense correlational Task and Motion Planner, and this poster uses the familiarity of the research name with the pixar movie coco.

Saying Sorry (Part 3/4) Characters August - Alligator - A soft spoken single father who works in IT. Fergus - Alligator - A grandpa who has been chewed up by the world but is doing his best. August's father. Transcript Panel 1 August's dad, Fergus, has stopped by to drop off a gift and apologize for something that happened in August's childhood. Fergus is not the best as expressing his feelings so he's doing his best to speak carefully and honestly. August has made some coffee. He hands a mug to his dad that says "MUG" while August holds one for himself that says "SON of MUG". August is secretly delighted at the opportunity to use these mugs. Fergus: I didn't mean to get emotional. I'm sorry. Panel 2 Fergus just flat out says what he came to say. Fergus: I remembered that time I burned your toys. You didn't deserve that. Panel 3 Fergus looks away for a moment. He wants to make sure he apologizes without making excuses for himself like his own father used to. Fergus: I should have been a better dad to you and your sisters. I'm sorry that I was so hurtful and angry. Panel 4 Fergus: Being someone's parent is hard. Being someone's kid shouldn't be.

The painting shows blue purple sky and green yellowish grass, with autumn trees. You can see that it's windy from the shape of grass and trees. Surrounding the painting, there are small doodles. On top left, we have 2 humans, drawn in triangular fashion. The body for both humans is a big triangle, but the orientation is the opposite. The first person has the pointed end down, and the second person has the pointed end as their neck. The second person also has bigger hair, and more prominent legs and hands. On top right, we have poorly drawn donut sketch, with the top half sketched in black to show chocolate covering. On bottom left, we have a bear doodle where he's looking through the forest. The forest is drawn just as a set of 4 sticks shown to be trees, and there are 3 birds flying in the back. The bear has their face open as if they're either shouting, or standing surprised. On the bottom right there's a doodle of a small monster that's walking like a zombie with both arms extended in front.

Update: added doodles while waiting for pytorch installation :)

After having sent around 20 postcards to strangers on @postcrossing.com (& other), I am surprised that many people don't like self-made personalized cards and prefer printed ones.

I can never understand this! In what world is a mass-produced postcard more liked than a personalized card?

Every once in a while, I install Instagram to share something with friends.

Being away from it, hits how insanely addictive the reels are.

It's almost like frog in boiling water effect where using it daily makes you accustomed without realising the effects it has on the health.
