Preparing grapefruit for my kids like my grandpa (who would've been 100 at his last birthday) showed me when I was little fills me with such happy nostalgia. Cut into mouthful bites while still sitting in the half skin, sprinkled with sugar and let to sit for a few mins before eating. So yum too!

Didn't seem quite as messy near us but the happy boomer heckle energy was strong. At least two people loudly endorsed flip grater's lyric about gin, and there were lots of vocal fans of te awamutu. Great performance too!

Don't pay much attention to Australian politics/news and just realised "The Voice" referendum is about indigenous rights, not a TV singing competition.
Coke OG is the best soft drink. No other brands' cola comes close in deliciousness and artificial sugar is the most heinous stuff out.
