Both forms of safety are crucial for a well-rounded educational experience, as emotional well-being often complements physical security to create an optimal environment for student growth.
This is the kind of pivot our government needs to make to elevate and systematically adjust our current direction.
The increase in anxiety and stress, social isolation, and the inhibition of meaningful inperson interactions cannot be ignored. We need to look within ourselves, and collectively as a society, to find a balance between constant connectivity and preserving the quality of our real-life relationships.
While the benefits of constant connectivity through our communication devices are
acknowledged, it is imperative to understand the disadvantage this has on us emotionally.

Are we a melting pot or a salad bowl? 🤔 I lean toward the salad bowl theory: celebrating diversity while allowing every ‘ingredient’ to retain its unique flavor. Instead of blending into sameness, we thrive when our differences shine together in harmony.
