Weβre a third world country. Masked ICE disappearing protesters in Portland.
Hegseth is a perfect example of how Donald Trump does not give a flying shit about the United States. To put such an unqualified clown in that position is tantamount to sabotage.
Seeing the GOP turn into crisis actors over the government shutdown is pretty wild. Theyβve been using the threat of a government shutdown as leverage for the past decade and now they want to act horrified like that never happened? Eat shit.

So far in 2025...324 mass shootings in just 272 days.
We do not have to keep living like this.
A post from Dan Rather (@DanRather): The reality is we have a sharp partisan divide in this country. And that divide is largely over reality.
This is true.
So, like, are active shooter drills at churches the solution?
Because thatβs what they decided for schools.
A screenshot of an X post by @atrupar featuring a clip from a Face the Nation broadcast. The post quotes Rand Paul saying, "Chicago is a nightmare. It is literally a war zone." The image shows a TV screen displaying Rand Paul speaking, with a host in a red top seated in the foreground. The set includes a backdrop with the U.S. Capitol and American flags, and the Face the Nation logo. Subtitles on the screen read "hiring and tiring I think he's." The post includes a timestamp of 1:23.
These GOP politicians have to stop describing largely peaceful urban centers like Portland and Chicago as war zones. The unpeaceful parts are where the Feds have shown up to spread fear and abuse.

Pritzker: "In any other country, if federal agents fired upon journalists & protesters when unprovoked what would we call it? If officials marched down streets harassing civilians & demanding their papers, what would we say? I don't think we'd have trouble calling it what it is: authoritarianism"
This shouldnβt matter. But also - it canβt only matter when itβs not right-wing violence.
You know what treason looks like? A convicted criminal using the White House to send troops as his personal army to peaceful American cities that he hates in order to instill fear and create chaos.
Requiring REAL IDs and passports and birth certificates to vote?!?
Imagine if these were required to buy a gun.
Statement from Trump on Putinβs Palm Sunday Massacre missile attack that killed at least 34, including several children, and injured another 117 people:
The irony of so many liberal-minded folks calling out the Democratic Partyβs *obvious* weakness today in the face of Trump is the fact that this is probably the boldest Democrats have been in decades.
The failure to fight the right isnβt a sudden or a new thing. Itβs been mounting for decades.
The image is a screenshot of a social media post by a user named Andrew VanHauer. The profile picture is a small circular image showing a person wearing a hat. The username is @ACVHAUER. The text in the post reads: "The idea that socialists want free stuff is the great lie of capitalism. Socialists want the fruits of our labor to be equitably distributed rather than allowing 10 old men to hoard half the planet's resources." The image has a red border.
Happy #SocialistSunday comrades!
