I was there today & spoke w local police officers who told me they were there to protect the demonstrators, who by the way were very peaceful.
The incident started when ICE ran a car off the road & there person in the car jumped out and ran into a nearby house. That’s when neighbors stepped in.
In South Burlington, Vermont, protesters are being tear-gassed by ICE and local police as they attempt to prevent a kidnapping.
Imagine a world where Americans were smarter and didn’t applaud when reactionary idiot Ronald Reagan made a show out of removing the solar panels Jimmy Carter had installed on the White House. We wouldn’t now have to worry about affording to fill gas tanks next month.
I don’t think unconditional surrender is imminent.
