Shoutout to the homie Blender for saving me from having to draw things my attention span otherwise wouldn't tolerate.
(also the webcomic updates tomorrow/later on tonight aaay)

I have a condition that punishes me extra hard for eating junk, and lately it's been really sick of my nonsense. So that's been my main motivator. 😭

Also when I say "quitting sugar" I mean sweets and added sugars. I still be eating fruit and stuff lol.

A follow up. 11 days in. Did notice a difference. Headaches, tired, sad, couldn't focus. Headaches are gone now, not tired and sad anymore, regaining focus, and my skin's been clearing up. 👍🏾

Just realized I forgot to put this over here. (These are still a pain to make, but I think I'm getting used to it.)

I've been doing digital art for almost 20 years at this point and I still don't know how the heck to line the eyes up on the face without a bunch of trial and error...

I told myself I wanted to try quitting sugar cold turkey this morning to see if I noticed a difference and why am I already feeling this creeping sense of dread? Like sis we haven't started yet. 😭

Individual comic websites are what I grew up with, but I understand people wanting an index for sure. I swear it's like some folks don't even understand the concept of comics existing outside of webtoons nowadays, though, which is kind of depressing. And yeah their search system is trash. 😭

I was digging up old art of Giovanni because reasons and the way he almost looks like a fusion/child between Adam and Leo, despite predating them by a good 15 years, has me spiraling.

I don't make new OCs. I just recycle my old ones from high school in different ways.

I don't know how to articulate how happy this makes me. I've literally hated every single redesign they've done of her post 2006. 😭

Reached the point in the comic on the patron side where Leo shows up. He's literally just standing there and Adam is so down bad. I love it. 😭

My grandpa is officially back home and settled after a temporary stay at a nursing home for physical therapy and my 3 week break after almost 3 years of living the caregiver lifestyle has ended. I'm happy he's back though. 😭

Today my brain really said "Yeah, I understand that you got a full night's sleep already, but I'm gonna need you to take an extra 4-hour nap today and I'm going to make everything you try to draw ugly until you do it."

I got into OCs because I got tired of waiting for shows/games/anime to present me with characters I really liked. I wouldn't be able to make a fraction of the things I do if I wasn't running on PURE slightly-filtered self indulgence...

Forever imagining how easy and happy life could be if I didn't hate adding flat colors to messy/sketchy lines...

Yep I think that's what it boils down to. People don't get it because they've never made their own stuff before. The don't realize what all goes into it so taking it doesn't seem like a big deal.
