you could also be just not used to compliments! im the same, but i just say ty and try move on, even if in my head i heavily disagree. also flaws arent always inherently bad, for some it gives a reason to strive to get better and better, even if its frusterating. i like to think they add character!

its something a lot of people struggle with! i could be wrong, but i believe its because us artist are always looking at our work and we see all the flaws and the process of how everything went, whereas when someone else sees it they only see the end product, and they dont actively look for flaws yk
