We are happy to share our article, now published in @jacs.acspublications.org !πLeaving groups that do not really leave! Congrats to Arti for showing that phosphate leaving groups persist after amide bond formation, affecting the supramolecular properties of the system.

Just out in @ChemRxiv! Switchable amino acyl phosphates! We show how azobenzene-embedded acyl phosphates enable photoperiodic control over non-equilibrium self-assembly.

Thank you very much @gomobel.bsky.social for highliting our work on @chemistryworld.com. Chiral acyl phosphates meet self-assembly..! Thanks also @claudiabonfio.bsky.social and @jeannecrassousiscr.bsky.social for the very nice comments about our work!!

More than a leaving group!! We show how phosphate leaving groups can regulate reaction pathways and drive orthogonal amide bond formation. Well done Arti!

Click or Acyl transfer? We show how amino acyl phosphates and peptide nucleophiles direct acyl transfer vs click chemistry, enabling temporal control in abiotic networks. Well done

Very cool work!
Congratulations Mahesh for successfully defending your thesis! The first PhD student from the group. An amazing research journey ends here and we wish you all the best for your future research adventures!!
Thank you Oliver!
Thank you Rienk!
Self-assembly of the phosphate esters give rise to covalent self-sorting in oligomerization reactions.
The chemical structures of the phosphate esters can be tailored to direct the synthesis of specific sequences.
We show how side chain reactivity and pre-organisation of phosphate esters can drive selective peptide bond formation from a pool of amino acids.
Happy for our published article in @NatureComms
showing the departure from randomness in peptide bond formation through aminoacyl phosphate esters. Congratulations to Arti and everyone involved.@livMatS_UniFR
