btw about that pixar thing, the reason why these people think having a conversation about gay people with kids is difficult is because they don't know a way to say to their kid "gay people are normal but you are not allowed to be one" without sounding like a bigot (there is a reason for that)

Are you a Massachusetts resident? Do you support the freedom to read?

If so, please write to your state legislators in support of “An Act Regarding Free Expression” (H.3594). We’re going to have a big advocacy day on Tuesday to get this bill passed and every bit of support matters!

-why the boyscouts don't exist anymore; what sexual misconduct is

no matter how hard smart romance people try to steer an interview, most WILL inevitably end up dead-ending behind a grimy bar with, "who can say why they choose to be so frivolous"

"If you're going to run a Very Serious Article About Romance, assign a writer who regularly reads romance" seems like such an obvious rule of thumb for editors to follow.

Every year in February I think “eh, it’s just gonna be wet and brown once the snow melts, I’d rather have it stay snowy for most of March.”

And then one day of false spring arrives and I’m like “never mind, people, shorts and flip-flops are a go! Everyone find your baseball caps, it’s summer!”
