It’s conference season and I’ve been busy sharing my emerging research: first the School of PCI’s symposium themed on Embracing Liminalities, followed by the School of Education’s PGR conference themed on positionality in research. Both were great, supportive environments to share ideas!

Young people to benefit from creative education boost New package announced to support young people to access high-quality arts education and enrichment activities as well as AI and tech opportunities.

Some positive news in this report- the establishment of a National Centre for Arts and Music Education. I wonder though about why we refer to 'arts AND music' - is Music not an art? Are they not all equal? I'd like to see all arts on the curriculum, for all children. www.gov.uk/government/n...
