It’s not just Trump, though, is it? He’s hardly the first POTUS to err egregiously, let alone do awful things. Watergate grindingly led to resignation, Johnson illegally fired his WarSec, welcomed back Confederates and Clinton’s lies viciously harmed ML. And none of them were fired! It’s ridiculous!
Impeachment was supposed to be a process to remove corrupt, abusive Presidents - or just those who misconduct in public office. (There’s been more than a few). PM’s get fired, monarchs get deposed, leaders quit. In the US? Never happened. No accountability. That’s *worse* than having a King 🤷🏼♀️
