watched a lot of shows from my youth that gave comfy nostalgia vibes while in bed resting.

I hope you enjoy them! (and find the time to unwind with them) They also have anime adaptions that are absolutely gorgeously done 💖

and I'd also suggest Dororo; it's a super old series (like 50's-60s) but it follows a boy who's the son of a japanese ruler that sacrificed him to a hoarde of demons for power and wealth. The boy is now going through life fighting all the demons to regain his body back (limbs, senses, organs etc)

Hmm... I don't know if they'd be quite up your alley, but seeing as these are a lot more classic titles: for suspense/mystery although it's more horror/thriller as well I'd suggest Parasyte the Maximum (think bodysnatchers but anime)

There’s so much out there! If you have any genres or stories you’ve specifically enjoyed I can definitely throw you some recs to try out when you’ve got time. But also there’s nothing wrong with rereading your comfort series too 💖

Whatever gets the healthy dopamine going to refuel the creativity brain! Doesn’t have to be fancy. I’ve also started picking up manga again as my nightly read to unwind before bed and not just work/draw until I pass out.

I finished all of my work for the month today, and while it didn't leave a lot of time for leisure work or game time, I've enjoyed having a little bit of time to spend on my comic again as a treat 💖
