FF7 Retrilogy is doing wonders for cloud in my eyes btw. Already loved him, but the execution didn’t move me to my core the way it does now.
Love how similar these 3 protagonists are in their delve into the heart of a fractured identity born from trauma and a “borrowed wish.”
The original translation and heavy exposition didn’t help either, but I really love it almost as much as the next two now…
Nasu knows how to end a route, cause those last 3 days did wonders for it and I always cry at the final scene.
