DID is funny cuz when its one of the adult alters out things are much more managable. stress is much lower because they can look at shit realistically and find it easier to take a 'deal with it if it happens' approach. when the kids are out? hell on earth. they are not ready for the adult world lol.
it really sucks struggling with catastrophizing. granted i'm doing much better than i was a few years ago, but it still flares up from time to time and its just as awful as ever. sigh. need the world to stop being such a scary place so the dumb children in my brain can rest.
