West Albany has dominated much of the league schedule so far. Can the Bulldogs keep it up?

Since returning to 5A prior to the 2022 season, the Summit boys soccer team has gone 45-6-4 with losses to 6A Lincoln, Jesuit, Lakeridge, plus 5A LaSalle in the title game last year.
The other two losses are to West Albany. Can lightning strike the Storm thrice? We'll find out tonight.

Transfers in high school have become so prevalent, we have hour long podcasts covering all the changes in Oregon 5A boys basketball.
I see both sides of this argument, but ultimately to me the time to transfer is after 8th grade. Fully on board with open enrollment before then.
I swear I saw some guy on Facebook after the loss to St. Mary’s say Canham should be fired for playing Tyce Peterson, and anyways I’m so happy he’s absolutely murdering the ball.

Since Mitch Canham became coach, OSU is one of only 3 schools to make at least a regional final in 5 consecutive seasons and one of only 5 schools to make at least 3 Super Regional appearances.
OSU is the only one of those 5 to not make a CWS appearance (yet).
Pretty sick of the Angel Reese hate. The woman isn’t the best scorer and she’s still made it to the top level of her sport. Ben Wallace made the hall of fame as a 41% free throw shooter. I get not liking her personality, but this nonstop trashing of her game is ridiculous.
They have also tied Casey’s stretch from 2011-14 for most consecutive 40 win seasons in program history.
Mitch Canham and Rich Dorman have now led the Beavs to at least a regional final in five consecutive seasons for the first time in program history.
Nobody loves a bunt more than Beaver fans.

Bulldogs finally plate one on an RBI groundout by Klein, but leave two on and trail 4-1 heading to the 7th. Bad luck as a pickoff got away down the line, but the ump granted the batter time just before the attempt. Next pitch ended the inning.
Drew Rice has gone the distance for WAHS, and makes short work of the Spartans in the sixth, retiring the side in order. Bannister looks to keep his shutout going for CHS in B6. #opreps

Middle of the 5th, Corvallis leads West Albany 4-0. Spartans pushed 3 across in the 1st, Bulldogs have had baserunners pretty much every inning, but nothing to show for it. Winner in prime position to take MWC title. #opreps

My hot take is that Jayson Tatum is the most overrated player in the NBA. I swear every time I watch, he’s jacking up bad 3’s and missing layups….yet somehow he’s All-NBA every year. My eyes betray me so badly on him.
