I'm deeply late to this but I was very, very close to seeing that Crime 101 movie that came out a few weeks ago solely because he did the soundtrack
The house, like the oldest ghost, grants wishes.

the record company that does those Ellis Dee represses is UK based and they were awesome about shipping when I contacted them directly but also earlier this week I sure, uh. made some decisions (justified them with the birthday loophole but also spending most of this week eating soup worked out)
oh christ I wasn't even thinking about the hassle of resetting the cat for DST
An illustrated diagram showing how country houses go through cycles of building up and breaking down as humans come and go from them. How through Blood, Sweat, Tears, and Elbow Grease a house is built up, then decays through Condensation, Pollination, Captivation, and Evaporation, aided and and abetted by both the eye of the occult and buried secrets.

You shiver, and the city shivers with you.
The moon going from full moon to a red moon and starting to go back to a normal full moon, then my camera battery door fell off.
Here's my first edit on the March 3rd Lunar Eclipse. 15 moon shots, 1 foreground. Taken over a 3 hourish period.
A black dragon with flame smoldering in its mouth and lines of magma burning between its scales spreads mighty wings as it emerges from the ocean. Water spirals and froths, rising at opposite edges of the panel with the massive displacement of the dragon rising. The rib supports of its wings are thick and spiked, but the flesh between is tattered and showing through at the edge of its wings. A cloud of orange billowing smoke rises behind. Lines of fiery debris launch in random directions. A spire of rock rises from the ocean as a tiny figure perches atop faces the massive beast.
Tomorrow (March 4, 11am ET) we’re offering a pair of dragon paintings including a preliminary for DEATHWING from World of Warcraft as commissioned by Blizzard Entertainment.

John Glenday Imagine You are Driving Imagine you are driving nowhere, with no one beside you; with the empty road unravelling and ravelling in sympathy as the wheel turns in your hands. On either side the wheatfields go shimmering past in an absence of birdsong, and the sky decants the shadows of the weather from itself. So you drive on, hopeful of a time when the ocean will rise up before you like dusk and you will make landfall at last – some ancient, long-forgotten mooring, which both of you, of course, will recognise; though as I said before, there is no one beside you and neither of you has anywhere to go.
Imagine you are driving
nowhere, with no one beside you;
with the empty road unravelling and ravelling
in sympathy as the wheel turns in your hands…

The verb ‘to see’ is very distantly related to ‘to sue’ – and also to ‘segue’, ‘second’ and ‘sequence’.
They all come from a Proto-Indo-European root whose meaning can be reconstructed as “to follow”. In Germanic, it shifted to “to follow with the eyes”.
