The press keeps saying Alex Pretti was killed by "an ICE agent" but the fact is that the public has no idea who killed him. To my knowledge, the killer has not been identified. The government should release his identity so that the press can confirm whether he was a govt agent or just some dude.
Federal agents killing civilians with no consequences makes escalation inevitable. Someone will retaliate and an agent will be killed. I oppose all violence. Impunity plus street-level killings is a recipe for chaos, and this is entirely predictable. This has to stop.
DHS: Sure, you have the right to protest, but we have the right to send you home in a box if we don't like what you say.
