I went into the kitchen to pick up a pair of scissors. Left the kitchen having made cauliflower cheese for tonight's dinner, and it was only when I sat down I realised I didn't have the scissors!

There's also potatoes, peas, tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries in the garden.
This might not be the most conventional way to write a novel, but the daily word prompt from #WIPsnips is certainly enabling me to put pen to paper.
The novel is progressing. It's made up of lots of little scenes, and I'm going to need to stitches them together soon. Patchwork writing!
Murderbot - the books were great, and the television program is rather wonderful. However, the thing they have excelled at is taking each episode up to a cliff hanger. It's so hard to stop, and not just binge the whole thing.
A first experience of chia seed pudding - um yeah, frogspawn.
The idea was to try to include more fibre in my diet. Currently, I don't know if this is the way to do it.
The novel is progressing. One of the most interesting parts of writing is that when you write every day it becomes easier to write every day. Then it becomes easier to write more each day.
Initially, I was happy with 150 words. Now, I think I'm shirking if it's less than six pages.

It was, but its also true in my case. Love Doctor Who, all of the Star Treks, Babylonia 5, etc, but no Star Wars.
I've never seen Star Wars.
Is it sill bonnag when there's only two ingredients the same? The original recipe calls for flour, cream of tartar, baking soda. This was replaced by SR gluten-free flour. The buttermilk became oatmilk and 50% more of it. The salt remains salt, and butter is still butter.

I've found they are so susceptible to the drip of hate from the newspaper, but have recently changed their mind on gay marriage and rights. They spend time with their friend's grandson, his husband & the baby they are adopting. Mam saw they were a couple in love with each other ^ their baby.
I'm having a similar problem with my parents. They read 'The Daily Mail'. It keeps topping up their heads anti-immigrant, anti-gay, anti-trans, anti-compassion crap.
It hurts to hear them spout such unfeeling, uncaring crap.
Today's writing included the line "Well today was a total waste of make up, wasn't it?"
And,
"What does your Mam call you?"
"Gormless Numpty."
"Okay. What does it say on your birth certificate?"
