Last night I finished my second watch of Small Prophets and I loved it even more than the first time. Such a magic little thing. It gives me a reason to live. There is some good in this world ๐

I dreamt I was watching a bts from the Ghosts movie and they were shooting a flashback where the Captain was a wedding guest and he had two children...... What?!
Thank you ๐
Thank you! ๐
@marklewisohn.bsky.social just finished watching Evolver 62... I would watch 20 hours more of you narrating every year of the story of the Beatles! So grateful, thank you โฅ๏ธ
Detail of a drawing of 1974 George Harrison, coloured with pastel pencils in sepia colours
Drawing of 1974 George Harrison
Hari's on tour, Feb 2026
I wanted to sketch George for his birthday, for some reason I decided to do it on 33x48cm paper, and I coloured with pastel pencils. Dust everywhere, spent 2 hours brushing off the excess, now I can't touch it. He's good looking, but at what cost? #georgeharrison #drawing
This is going to be my excuse for everything from now on
Awful humid misty day, my back aches, but it's alright because we're going to get a Ghosts film.
When Van Gogh painted Cypresses (1889), he said they were โlike Egyptian obelisks.โ Their flame-like forms rise through swirling skies, turning stillness into motion.
But seriously. We are back! Next week we start shooting #bbcghosts the movie! Huge excitement in the camp, lots of splendid people joining us.

Oil pastels painting of Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton coming from an Inside No 9 promotion shoot.
Ok, I think I'm done. It keeps discharging black dust, which I think it's funny considering the subject. I'd like to hang it in my room, I haven't got a big enough frame... Yet
thatโs the guy iโm after, i want him to come. whoโs he?
Beautiful ๐๐
Work in progress picture of an oil pastel portrait of Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton
Managed to find a full free hour today and I've finished their bodies. Oil pastels might be more fun and quicker than pencils, but they get paper sooo dirty. #oilpastels

Leonard and Daniel, January 2026
Leonard is my best friend. Definitely the reason why I watched all of Grantchester. I couldn't stop thinking about this sweet little moment for days after I saw it. (I love Daniel too, I guess)

Oil painting in progress. Both Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton are taking shape
Done for the week... See you next Saturday.
Honestly, this is the first portrait I'm making with oil pastels, I'm just hoping it turns out alright... I'm usually more precise with pencils, but you can't worry too much about details with these!
Oil pastel drawing in process. Still almost blank
Oli pastels drawing in progress. A reddish face appears.

Going through the phase when I have to trust the process.

A drawing of an octopus resting in shallow water. The caption reads, "It's not wrong to be sensitive; the world needs more of your softness."
hugs for all the softies
I also have dreams about logistics regarding my father who died 3 years ago and was bedridden... We're always going somewhere absurd where I'd never go in real life. I feel you ๐ซ
I have a big problem with Joel Fry and it's the fact he never gets to play the main love interest
A picture of Rhys Darby's This Way to Spaceship in my hands!
As it's not likely I'll ever see one of Rhys' gigs, and as it's finally available in Italy... I got this and I can't wait to read it. I love it already and I can feel it loves me
I've been watching a tv show where Mat Baynton is the main character (You, me and the apocalypse) so, obviously, my brain decided to make Jim Howick my best friend in my dream.
Sharing for whoever might need it (went through all the phases myself)
It's been more than 10 years since I last watched Monty Python's Flying Circus back to front. I get scared I might find it dated, boring or cringey, but... no. Still the greatest thing I've ever seen.
What's more, now I get all the double meanings and references that I missed when I was younger.
Ok but listen to this. What if, right now, I just... Finished for today
